I Did It!

Ok, so I did snooze 1 extra time, but I got out of bed at 5:45 - a summer miracle.  I did the same route, although I clearly turned my tracker on a tad later, because it measured 3.32 instead of 3.36.  I improved my pace to 17'55".  It was actually faster than that until the final .32 - I purposely slowed to cool down since I knew I wouldn't have as much time after.

I feel good - a little sore.  But that is to be expected.  Ibuprofen and I will pick up our torrid relationship where we left off for a little while.

My doctor's appointment did inspire me, but not because of the doctor.  My bp was up - grrrrrr - so I now have a 4th medication - not happy.  Curiously, however, the doctor told me not to worry so much about exercise - to concentrate more on my diet.  He said, "exercising makes you eat more".  I can't disagree more.  When I am exercising I definitely eat less and eat healthier.  So, knowing myself, I am going to ignore that little tidbit.

Not bad to be 7600 steps into my day by 7:15am - now off to shower!!!
