Of course, it is silly to say FIRST big victory because I have done this start and stop thing about a million times. But I'm focusing on THIS time right now, thank you.
So, Tuesday morning I woke up at 5:45am and walked 3.32 miles. Wait, I'm not sure if you read that clearly -- I WOKE UP AT 5:45AM and WALKED 3.32 MILES.!!!! Better? Ok, so for many of my motivated friends, that is their every day. I loathe waking any earlier than I have to. It is the death of me. So, hey - to me that is a big victory. I also bettered my pace. And I even took 15,690 steps - a new high for me.
Walking on air all day long. Ok, not true - walking on fairly sore muscles and knees but the fact that I kept walking all day helped.
Hiccup? I'm calling it that because I refuse to give up and say defeat just yet. I did not get up this morning. Even though I went to bed Tuesday night before 10pm, it was so hot I did not properly get to sleep until midnight and only then with a headache. So I slept as long as possible. I had intentions to walk in the evening but they never happened. Instead, I ate pizza - excellent substitute. Also, I only took 4714 steps today - RIDICULOUS.
Well, tomorrow is a new day. Actually, TODAY is a new day because it is actually 12;30am and, if I don't get my ass in bed, I will not get out of it. GOOD NIGHT!!
